CONDADO CLUB - CONDADO DE ALHAMA




Just over a month ago I wrote a blog called The Vista Bar - the end of an era but if you missed it, click the link above to catch up. 

That blog was written as Audrey, and her team, decided a new challenge was on the cards and whilst still in it's infancy the upcoming adventure was in full on planning mode but absolutely top secret.

At the time of writing the closing blog, I swore to track Audrey and her team down and here is my take on developments since the transition began at the end of August.

As the month has progressed little rumours have spread across Camposol, Condado and the surrounding area and last week there was the official announcement I'd been waiting for...

Audrey has taken over The Condado Club, on Condado de Alhama, with the backing of Claire Evans.  Gary Hall has moved across with her also and they have the support of a very strong and well established team, who all the regulars will be familiar with.


Today The Club is closed as the team make a few tweaks, make themselves familiar with each other and their new environment and prepare to re-open tomorrow.

Personally, I think this is a really exciting opportunity for all involved and I really look forward to seeing what Audrey, Claire, Gary and the team can achieve together moving forwards. 

So update blog complete, all that leaves me to say is good luck team Condado Club, watch this space for their upcoming menus, events and shenanigans and pop in for a nosy if you can.

THE COSTA CALIDA - The Warm Coast

    The Costa Calida is the coastline of Murcia and runs from the North near Alicante, down to the South bordering with Almeria. Well know areas along this coast include the Mar Menor, Aguilas, Mazarron and Cartegena to name just a few. The original airport serving the Costa Calida (on my first arrival) was San Javier, a military airport also serving civilians. Bar Review - Tel's Bar, Camposol

This bar is a great little hangout, with a positive, fun vibe to it and plenty to offer during hot sunny days, late warm evenings and even on the cooler or wetter days. Located on Camposol Sector A, Leanne has a fantastic established team by her side and has been running Tel´s for many years now.  Whether you are looking for a full English breakfast, a quiz, music entertainment or just a good drink and chatter this is a great place for all.   I have spent many an afternoon or evening with friends, enjoying the relaxed environment and a glass of something cold.  Nothing is ever too much trouble for Leanne and I have seen her go out of her way on many occasions for her customers - I've even seen her give some of them a lift home to save them a long walk!
