The Grove - The best food & phenomenal service

This is a blog I have been dying to write for some time and is, in my opinion, the perfect way to relaunch Chica de Mazarrón. 

This restaurant is my absolute number one on Camposol and the team here really deserves the recognition, support and celebration they get. 

As an absolute favourite with my friends and family, this is our go to place for any special occasion, be it a birthday, people visiting from the UK or just because we deserve to treat ourselves. 

Since The Grove opened we have probably tried everything on the menu, including their famous homemade steak pie, seafood risottos and pastas, steaks, lamb, duck, chicken and many more regular dishes and house specials - there really is something for everyone and the standard and value of the food is exceptional!


For a little restaurant enveloped between the bars of B, there is something special about the ambiance Lex and his team have created. It really is like being transported to another culinary world, from the moment you step onto the terrace or into the restaurant. 

As if the quality, choice and value of the food wasn't enough, the welcome you will receive from Lex and his team is something else. His outstanding, helpful and friendly demeanour will blow your mind and I challenge you to find a better host anywhere on the Costa Calidá!

THE COSTA CALIDA - The Warm Coast

    The Costa Calida is the coastline of Murcia and runs from the North near Alicante, down to the South bordering with Almeria. Well know areas along this coast include the Mar Menor, Aguilas, Mazarron and Cartegena to name just a few. The original airport serving the Costa Calida (on my first arrival) was San Javier, a military airport also serving civilians. Bar Review - Tel's Bar, Camposol

This bar is a great little hangout, with a positive, fun vibe to it and plenty to offer during hot sunny days, late warm evenings and even on the cooler or wetter days. Located on Camposol Sector A, Leanne has a fantastic established team by her side and has been running Tel´s for many years now.  Whether you are looking for a full English breakfast, a quiz, music entertainment or just a good drink and chatter this is a great place for all.   I have spent many an afternoon or evening with friends, enjoying the relaxed environment and a glass of something cold.  Nothing is ever too much trouble for Leanne and I have seen her go out of her way on many occasions for her customers - I've even seen her give some of them a lift home to save them a long walk!
