Los Duques, in collaberation with The Condado Club

Alhama de Murcia bars and venues have been hit hard by the live music ban but last night I experienced a great evening which still stuck to the music rules, offered great hygiene and social distancing measures and an extraordinary, live and exclusive performance from Los Duques. 

In collaboration with The Condado Club, Los Duques performed a two hour set of their very best rock covers and shared their experience of 10 years of performing together, through the power of technology. 

With their large function room, large and well placed tables the venue offered a perfect environment for some safe toe-tapping entertainment and a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Using a live stream and projector system Los Duques were fantastic at engaging with their audience from afar, an audience I might add that created a great buzz and all whilst abiding by the current restrictions in place. 

With table service and food a plenty, Audrey and her team kept their guests happy and Los Duques provided the perfect background to create a fabulous night of entertainment under incredibly tight restrictions. 


If one thing Covid19 seems to have proved is that the business owners across Murcia, bands, performers and the general public have all adapted incredible well to a different kind of social life and the power of technology is being realised to it's true potential on a daily basis. 

Congratulations Los Duques and The Condado Club to yet another positive step in fighting Covid19 and providing the social interactions we so desperately need. All the hours of hard work behind the scenes provided a great evening with just a few minor technical hitches.

And a special thanks to Steph Gibson for the best technical hitch ever..... Fancy calling Audrey during her live stream of the show! A moment of pure genius and as the call rang our around The Condado Club and everyone erupted into fits of laughter!!! Got to love modern technology!!!

    Is it not about time that we petition the town hall about this ??? we can still social distance even on stage ,just would like to help out the bars and to play thanks

THE COSTA CALIDA - The Warm Coast

    The Costa Calida is the coastline of Murcia and runs from the North near Alicante, down to the South bordering with Almeria. Well know areas along this coast include the Mar Menor, Aguilas, Mazarron and Cartegena to name just a few. Bar Review - Tel's Bar, Camposol

This bar is a great little hangout, with a positive, fun vibe to it and plenty to offer during hot sunny days, late warm evenings and even on the cooler or wetter days. Located on Camposol Sector A, Leanne has a fantastic established team by her side and has been running Tel´s for many years now.  Whether you are looking for a full English breakfast, a quiz, music entertainment or just a good drink and chatter this is a great place for all.   I have spent many an afternoon or evening with friends, enjoying the relaxed environment and a glass of something cold.  Nothing is ever too much trouble for Leanne and I have seen her go out of her way on many occasions for her customers - I've even seen her give some of them a lift home to save them a long walk!
